Think you're ready for that "little" 10 miler down the road?
Here's the best way to find out!
Come along and enjoy a scenic run through the country roads around Denmead. The course starts in the village and takes you out into beautiful countryside with just a little bite in the shape of the odd climb, before returning to the village.
Now in it's 19th year, this race is an ideal warm up to the Great South Run the week after.
Event Notes:
Health & Safety Notice: NO IPod or other in ear devices may be worn during the event. Runners doing so could be removed from the course and will be disqualified
- Please note that dogs are not permitted on King George Playing Field
- There are very limited toilet facilities located in the Pavilion.
- There are limited changing facilities, showers will not be available.
- The race will start in Southwick Road and finish in King George Field.
Parking Notes:
- DO NOT attempt to park anywhere in Southwick Road – your car may be towed away if you do.
- DO NOT park in the Harvest Home car park.
- Share transport wherever possible as parking facilities are limited
- Use the Public car park in Kidmore Road, situated some 500m from the start, where toilet facilities are also available. It will be clearly marked.
- Park, but not in Southwick Road, with care and consideration. This
race relies on
the retention of the goodwill of local people and the Parish Council.
Changing Facilities. - Come ready to race. Changing facilities are very limited.
