Ladies Report

The HRRL season ends with a five miler and begins with a five miler! Once again the first race was the Overton 5. The weather was very good for the runners- the rain stayed away and although it can be quite hot for this race this year the temperature was much cooler. The race course had been changed to make policing and the traffic flow easier but I didn't hear any adverse comments or complaints.

A big thank you to the five ladies who turned up to run and support their club. 

Congratulations to Irene Pollard who ran her heart out but didn't realise there were 2 other ladies in blue vests overtaking, she may not have made the A team but she was the first lady Vet 65! So the Overton 'lady of the match @ has to go to Irene, well done!

The next race is on our own home turf at the MBC, another 5 miler so we hope to see a lot more ladies out running there!
