Overton 5

Happy Days, the Overton 5 2022 is open for entry We are over the moon to announce that the 33rd edition of the Overton 5 will be happening at 14.00 on Sunday 4th September. We are also delighted to confirm that race will once again kick off the 2022/2023 Hampshire Road Race League (HRR

The course remains unchanged, on fully closed road and as with the past few editions of the race, plastic free.  The entry fees are £18 for affiliated runners and £20 for non-affiliated.  As we are always looking to reduce our impact on the environment we have decided to move away from offering medals which were made abroad and shipped to the UK.  Instead we are looking at options that are UK sourced and a bit more useful as a post race memento.

Fun for All the Family As usual we try to make this an afternoon for the whole family and in addition to the main race we will have : – A kids races on the field at race HQ before the Overton 5 and entry to the kids races is free – Tea / Coffee / Cakes and Bacon Sandwiches on sale from the local Scouts at the Race HQ – An Ice-Cream Van at the Race HQ for a post race treat – A fully licensed bar open from 3pm if you need a slightly stronger post race reward  We look forward to seeing you on the start line!
